Many times I am approached by folks that want to learn more about computers and the programs used by most businesses today.  And there are many very good schools available.

But what if you have the interest, but not the money??

Well, one excellent  online, FREE, training service is ran by GCF, the Goodwill Community Foundation.

GCF runs a website, http://www.gcflearnfree.org, that covers Computers, Reading, Math, Career Planning, Resume Writing, etc…

They offer over 90 topics, over 1000 lessons, videos and interactives.

And it is all free!

Whether you are new to the computer, returning for review or just want to gain more 21st century skills, their free computer tutorials can help. From Computer Basics to Microsoft Office to Apple…

And with learning apps for your smartphone, you can learn Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, etc…

I have used their lessons in Microsoft Office and OpenOffice to compare these two business suites…

They even have lessons on Facebook, Skype, and Twitter…

And besides computer stuff, there is life skills lessons, such as:

Using an  ATM, reading a Bus Map, Check Your Receipt, Job Applications, etc…

GCFLearnFree.org® is supported by the Goodwill Community Foundation, Inc. (GCF®) whose mission is “to create and provide education, employment, and life enrichment opportunities for people who desire to improve the quality of their lives”.

Over TWO million learners from around the world have taken advantage of the free learning opportunities.
